As part of its ongoing efforts to expand scientific partnerships and strengthen its academic presence at both the Arab and international levels, Al-Mustaqbal University held a virtual meeting via closed-circuit video conference with Al-Azhar University in the Arab Republic of Egypt to discuss prospects for joint academic and scientific cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdy, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Professor Dr. Muthaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, along with several department heads from the university presidency. From Al-Azhar University’s side, a group of relevant academic and administrative representatives participated in the meeting. The session included a comprehensive presentation about Al-Mustaqbal University, highlighting its key achievements in scientific research, enhancement of the educational process, and development of the academic environment, in addition to the Arab and international partnerships it has established in recent years. The presentation also showcased the university’s advanced positions in international rankings and its distinguished standing in the national university ranking. Both sides exchanged views on mechanisms for activating future cooperation, including academic exchange programs, joint scientific research, organization of academic events, and exchange of expertise, all aimed at supporting higher education and achieving the academic objectives of both institutions in the two brotherly countries. This meeting comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategy to build strong and sustainable academic partnerships with reputable universities, thereby enhancing the quality of education, improving academic and research performance, and advancing its path toward leadership and excellence at both regional and international levels.
