The Department of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop titled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Smart Agriculture” for the department’s students on Saturday, 31/5/2027, in the Scientific Building, presented by the teaching assistant Banin Nazim. This workshop came as part of the scientific and specialized activities aimed at introducing the role of artificial intelligence technologies in developing the agricultural sector and promoting the concept of smart agriculture, contributing to improving production efficiency and resource management. The workshop addressed several topics related to the applications of artificial intelligence in agriculture, such as smart irrigation systems, soil and crop analysis using data, agricultural yield prediction, as well as the use of machine learning and agricultural robotics to improve production quality and reduce waste. The workshop also included interactive discussions with students on the importance of digital transformation in the agricultural sector and its role in achieving food security, as well as the possibility of implementing these technologies locally in line with global advancements in modern agriculture. This activity reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to strengthening the integration between artificial intelligence and vital sectors, and supporting innovation and scientific research in service of sustainable development.
