The Department of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Treatment Diagnosis” for the department’s students on Saturday, 31/5/2026, in the Scientific Building, presented by the lecturer Ayaa Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Ali. This workshop came as part of the scientific and specialized activities aimed at highlighting the role of artificial intelligence technologies in the medical field, particularly in disease diagnosis and the development of modern treatment methods, contributing to the support of digital transformation in the healthcare sector. The workshop addressed several topics related to the applications of artificial intelligence in medicine, such as medical data analysis, clinical decision support, and machine learning techniques in early disease detection, in addition to discussing the main challenges and opportunities in this field. The workshop also included interactive discussions with students on the possibility of employing artificial intelligence in developing the healthcare system in Iraq, and the importance of integrating these technologies into academic curricula to prepare a generation capable of keeping up with scientific and technological advancement in the medical field. This activity reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to enhancing applied aspects of artificial intelligence and linking them with vital sectors, in line with its goals of supporting scientific research, innovation, and community service.
