The date palm tree is one of the most important fruit-bearing trees in hot and dry environments. It belongs to the family Arecaceae. It is known as the “Tree of Life” in desert regions due to the food, raw materials, shade, and environmental protection it provides. Its cultivation is widely spread in the Middle East and North Africa. Botanical Description of the Date Palm Tree The date palm is a tall perennial tree that can reach a height of 20–30 meters.
