The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign entitled “With Clean Energy, We Build a Better Future” on Tuesday, 19/5/2026, under the slogan “Everyone Has a Role,” across the university campus. The campaign was held with the participation of Ms. Waqar Jaffat Jassim, Assistant Lecturer Hwaida Nazzal Hussein, and a group of department students. The campaign aimed to spread awareness about the importance of clean energy and its role in protecting the environment and achieving sustainable development, as well as promoting social responsibility among students and encouraging environmentally friendly practices. The activities included several awareness and educational events focusing on the importance of renewable energy sources, reducing environmental pollution, and providing guidance on energy conservation and the protection of natural resources. The campaign witnessed remarkable interaction from students and participants, who showed great interest in the campaign’s themes and objectives, emphasizing the importance of enhancing environmental awareness within the university community and supporting initiatives aimed at environmental protection. The department presidency affirmed its commitment to supporting awareness and community activities that contribute to spreading environmental culture and promoting sustainability concepts, in line with the university’s vision of building an integrated educational and social environment. This campaign comes as part of the efforts of Al-Mustaqbal University to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 7 related to affordable and clean energy and Goal 13 concerning climate action.
