The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Be Strong” on Tuesday, 19/5/2026, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division. The campaign was held across the university campus with the participation of Ms. Waqar Jaffat Jassim, Assistant Lecturer Hwaida Nazzal Hussein, and a group of department students. The campaign aimed to promote community awareness and support women’s empowerment by highlighting the importance of strengthening women psychologically and socially, as well as encouraging them to face challenges with confidence and resilience, contributing to a more aware and cohesive society. The activities included several awareness and educational events focusing on the important role of women in society and the necessity of supporting and empowering them in various fields. Informational brochures were also distributed to spread positive messages and enhance self-confidence. The campaign witnessed remarkable interaction from students and participants, who expressed great interest in the topics discussed and emphasized the importance of organizing such awareness initiatives within the university environment. The department presidency affirmed its commitment to supporting community and awareness activities that contribute to spreading positive culture and enhancing the role of women in society, in line with the university’s vision of creating an integrated educational and humanitarian environment. This campaign comes as part of the efforts of Al-Mustaqbal University to support awareness and community activities and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 5 related to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
