The Optics Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University held an extensive academic meeting on Monday, 18/5/2026, dedicated to discussing the guideline manual for quality standards. The meeting was attended by the department presidency along with the heads of the scientific and administrative groups, as part of the department’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of academic and administrative performance. During the meeting, the main sections of the guideline manual were reviewed after it had been distributed earlier to all group heads. The discussion aimed to familiarize attendees with the quality requirements, approved standards, and mechanisms for their effective implementation. The meeting also included listening to the most important required paragraphs within the manual, in addition to presenting observations and suggestions that contribute to institutional development and the achievement of academic quality indicators. The department presidency emphasized the importance of adhering to quality standards and academic accreditation requirements, highlighting their vital role in improving the educational environment and enhancing the efficiency of academic programs in line with modern higher education requirements. This meeting comes as part of a series of periodic activities and meetings organized by the department to promote a culture of quality and continuous development, contributing to achieving the institution’s goals and advancing the level of academic and administrative performance. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.
