As part of the extracurricular and sporting activities that Future University is keen to organize to develop its students' potential and hone their physical talents, the Biomedical Engineering Department organized a specialized five-a-side football tournament for students. The aim was to create a vibrant and interactive atmosphere that would help break the academic routine and strengthen student bonds. About the Tournament: The tournament witnessed wide participation from various academic levels within the department. The matches were held on the university's fields amidst an atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and high competitiveness. This sporting activity aimed to instill the values ​​of fair competition, develop students' leadership and physical skills, and promote the role of sports as a fundamental tool for building a well-rounded biomedical engineer. Methodology of the Activity and Competitions: The tournament was organized with a comprehensive sports program, which included: A knockout format for the matches to ensure the highest levels of excitement and adherence to sporting rules. Highlighting teamwork skills and the distribution of roles among players on the field, which will positively impact their future academic and professional conduct. The outstanding attendance and enthusiastic participation of faculty and students created an atmosphere of joy, moral support, and ideal encouragement within the university's sports complex. This initiative underscores the department's vision of achieving a perfect balance between rigorous academic requirements and recreational and sporting activities that contribute to revitalizing students and motivating them to excel both academically and professionally. Objectives of the Sports Activity: This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals that the university strives to achieve, particularly: Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being): by encouraging students to participate in sports and maintain physical fitness and mental and psychological health. Goal 4 (Quality Education): by providing a comprehensive university environment that supports physical and intellectual activities complementing the curriculum to ensure a high quality of student life.
