The Department of Anesthesia Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific training workshop entitled “Training on Intravenous Catheterization” on 20/4/2026, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Bahaa Fadhel Hamza and Mr. Ali Qasim Jawad. The workshop aimed to develop the practical skills of students and trainees in the field of intravenous catheterization by introducing modern techniques and the correct procedures for safe and effective catheter insertion, with a focus on practical aspects, possible complications, and methods of prevention. The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from participants, as the program included direct hands-on training that contributed to strengthening clinical skills and improving students’ efficiency in dealing with various cases within healthcare institutions, in line with the requirements of modern medical and anesthesia practice.
