The Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign titled “Green Sustainability” on Wednesday, 13/5/2026, throughout the corridors of Al-Mustaqbal University, with the participation of a number of department students, as part of the university’s efforts to enhance environmental awareness and spread a culture of environmental preservation among students. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of environmental sustainability and its role in protecting natural resources and achieving a healthy and safe environment for future generations, as well as encouraging students to adopt positive behaviors that contribute to reducing pollution, maintaining public cleanliness, and increasing green spaces. The campaign included a variety of awareness activities throughout the university corridors, including the distribution of educational brochures and posters addressing the concept of green sustainability and the most important proper environmental practices, in addition to providing advice and guidance on rationalizing resource consumption, reducing waste, and promoting a culture of environmental preservation within the university community. The campaign was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Bushra Hussein Atiya and Assistant Lecturer Mays Adi Mohammed, who emphasized the importance of spreading environmental awareness among students and the role of educational institutions in promoting a culture of sustainability and social responsibility. The campaign also witnessed remarkable interaction from students, who expressed great interest in environmental initiatives and the importance of contributing to creating a clean and healthy university environment, reflecting their commitment to supporting activities that serve society and the environment.
