As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance safety and quality standards within educational laboratories, the Optics Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed, on Saturday 16/5/2026, the continuation of field inspection tours for examining and inventorying laboratory equipment and supplies under the supervision of Dr. Dakhel and the Safety Committee team. These tours began last Wednesday in cooperation with the Chemical, Biological, Radiological Safety and Laboratory Committee at the university presidency. The inspection included a comprehensive and accurate examination of laboratory equipment and furniture to ensure their safety and operational efficiency, in addition to documenting any shortages and following up on devices or materials received from the university warehouses that had not previously been officially recorded, contributing to strengthening the administrative and technical organization of the laboratories. Dr. Mundhir Samin Shukr, Head of the Optics Techniques Department, emphasized the importance of these inspection tours in providing a safe and advanced educational and laboratory environment that supports the educational process and students’ practical training. He also praised the efforts of the working teams and their continuous cooperation in carrying out inventory and field follow-up activities. These efforts are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 related to Quality Education and Goal 3 concerning Good Health and Well-being, through providing a safe and modern laboratory environment that contributes to developing students’ scientific and practical skills. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.
