College of Dentistry Holds Workshop on World Malaria Day

The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “World Malaria Day,” held at the College of Dentistry building hall, in the presence of the dean of the College of Dentistry and a distinguished group of faculty members, as part of the sustainability requirements. The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Turki, who provided an overview of malaria, its modes of transmission, and the major symptoms and health complications associated with the disease, in addition to highlighting the most important preventive measures and strategies for reducing its spread. He also emphasized the importance of health awareness and the role of educational and healthcare institutions in promoting public health culture and strengthening preventive practices, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and public health preservation efforts. The workshop witnessed active scientific interaction from attendees through questions and discussions that contributed to enhancing knowledge and increasing health awareness among participants. This workshop comes within the College’s ongoing commitment to supporting scientific and awareness activities and promoting the concepts of sustainability and public health in line with the requirements of the modern academic environment.
