The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “World Health and Safety Day,” held at the College of Dentistry building hall, in the presence of the dean of the College of Dentistry and a distinguished group of faculty members, as part of the sustainability requirements. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ali Hamed, who discussed the importance of health and safety within educational and medical institutions and their role in providing a healthy and safe environment for students, academic staff, and administrative personnel. He also addressed the most important safety and preventive measures adopted in healthcare institutions, emphasizing the significance of promoting health awareness and strengthening the culture of compliance with preventive guidelines in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. The workshop witnessed active scientific interaction from attendees through questions and discussions that contributed to enhancing knowledge and increasing awareness of the importance of implementing health and safety standards. This workshop comes within the College’s ongoing commitment to supporting scientific and awareness activities and promoting the concepts of sustainability and public health in line with the requirements of the modern academic environment.
