The Forensic Evidence Department Organizes a Workshop Titled “Towards Effective Leadership and Sustainable Development” in Cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division

The Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop titled “Towards Effective Leadership and Sustainable Development” on Wednesday, 13/5/2026, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division. The workshop was held in the Humanities Building – Hall 208, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students. The workshop aimed to enhance the concepts of effective leadership and sustainable development, as well as to highlight the importance of women’s empowerment and their role in building an aware academic community capable of keeping pace with contemporary challenges. The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Mays Adi Mohammed, who discussed the most prominent modern leadership skills, the importance of strategic planning in achieving sustainable development goals, in addition to the role of educational institutions in supporting young talents and developing their academic and practical capabilities. The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees through discussions and questions that enriched its themes, reflecting the interest of students and faculty members in topics related to leadership and community development. The Deanship of the College of Science and the Department Presidency emphasized their commitment to organizing scientific and awareness activities that contribute to developing students’ skills and enhancing community awareness, praising the fruitful cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division in organizing purposeful events. This workshop comes within the efforts of Al-Mustaqbal University to support academic and developmental activities and to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to quality education, equality, and women’s empowerment.
