As part of the continuous awareness and health activities conducted by the Community Health Techniques Department, a distinguished awareness campaign entitled “Prevention of Seasonal Allergies” was held on Saturday, 16/5/2026, within the corridors of Al-Mustaqbal University, under the supervision and attendance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Aqeel Handil Tarish, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students. This initiative was launched as part of the department’s commitment to enhancing health awareness and promoting preventive culture among university students and staff members, particularly in light of seasonal climate changes that may contribute to the spread of allergy symptoms among many individuals. The activity included the preparation and design of educational posters containing important health guidelines and essential recommendations on the prevention of seasonal allergies and the proper and safe methods of dealing with them. The campaign also included a field tour throughout the university corridors and several academic and administrative departments, during which awareness posters were distributed to students and staff members. In addition, simplified explanations were provided regarding the importance of adhering to preventive measures in order to maintain public health and reduce the impact of allergy triggers commonly spread during the spring season. Furthermore, the Head of the Community Health Techniques Department, Dr. Aqeel Handil Tarish, explained to the respected heads of departments the major causes of seasonal allergies and the proper methods of prevention, emphasizing the importance of following health instructions and maintaining continuous awareness to minimize the spread of allergy triggers. Educational brochures were subsequently distributed to support health awareness and educational activities within the university campus.
