Chess Tournament Held for Cybersecurity Department Students

A chess tournament was held at Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, on Wednesday, 6-5-2026, for students of the Cybersecurity Technologies Engineering Department, under the supervision of the department’s Student Activities Coordinator and Sports Activities Officer, Assistant Lecturer Muhammad Sabah. The event aimed to develop students’ mental and intellectual skills and enhance their strategic thinking and decision-making abilities. The tournament, held within the campus of Al-Mustaqbal University, witnessed wide participation from department students in a competitive atmosphere characterized by enthusiasm and positive interaction. The event came as part of activities designed to develop students’ skills and refine their cognitive abilities through intellectual games that enhance focus and logical analysis. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that combines academic and practical skills, contributing to building students’ personalities and promoting teamwork and fair competition.
