Students of the Cybersecurity Technologies Engineering Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, organized an awareness activity on Thursday, 14-5-2026, entitled “Protect Yourself and Your Digital Data from Malicious Attacks” within the campus of Al-Mustaqbal University, aiming to spread cybersecurity awareness and strengthen digital culture among students. The activity included the distribution of awareness brochures addressing the most common types of cyberattacks and digital intrusion methods, in addition to providing important guidance on protecting personal accounts and digital data and following safe practices when using modern technologies and the internet. The activity also witnessed active interaction from students through questions and discussions about the most significant cybersecurity threats facing users in the digital environment, contributing to raising security awareness and enhancing the ability to confront modern cyber threats. This activity comes as part of the efforts of the Cybersecurity Technologies Engineering Department to promote digital security concepts and spread technical knowledge among students, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
