As part of ongoing efforts to promote high-quality scientific output, researcher M.M. Ali Ajmi Al-Nafei, a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering and Technology at Future University, has achieved a notable scientific milestone with the publication of his research paper titled: “Apache Hadoop for Large-Scale Data Processing Using Machine Learning Techniques” in a prestigious international journal indexed in the Scopus database for the 2025–2026 academic year. This scientific achievement aims to promote the principles of applied scientific research, keep pace with the digital revolution in big data processing, and develop cognitive skills in the application of machine learning techniques, in line with the requirements of quality and excellence in finding innovative technical solutions in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 9 on (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). The research addressed the challenges associated with managing and processing large-scale data using the Apache Hadoop environment, where the researcher adopted an innovative approach that integrates artificial intelligence techniques to improve system efficiency, achieving scientific results that reflect modern standards adopted in international publishing, and with high intelligence and professionalism that contribute to the development of digital knowledge in accordance with global scientific quality requirements. The research was praised for the rigor of its approach and the originality of its findings, providing an opportunity to enhance the university’s academic representation in international forums. The research underwent rigorous and stringent evaluation criteria that reflect the quality of the scientific work produced by the faculty of the College of Engineering and Technology.
