As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and align with global academic standards, Ms. Ru'a Star Jaber Muhammad, a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering and Technology, successfully completed an intensive training course on "The Bologna in Iraqi Universities," on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. The participation of faculty members in this course aimed to reinforce the principles of educational modernization and develop academic skills in course design, in line with the requirements for quality and excellence in applying the scientific standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the 2025-2026 academic year. The training program included the completion of all educational modules and review of the designated academic content, with a focus on modern standards for evaluating students’ academic performance, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and global quality requirements, and with the intelligence and high professionalism that ensure the alignment of learning outcomes with labor market demands. The course concluded with the successful completion of the final exam, providing an opportunity to strengthen expertise in managing modern educational systems, amid praise for the high level of commitment and precision in fulfilling academic requirements that contribute to improving the institutional performance of the College of Engineering and Technology in scientific forums. The department chair emphasized that faculty members obtaining such specialized certifications contributes to fostering a culture of educational innovation and ensuring the accurate implementation of newly introduced ministerial regulations, thereby supporting the achievement of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategic goals and elevating the university’s academic standing both locally and internationally.
