Assistant Lecturer Huda Rafed Abdul Khaliq from the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department held a scientific workshop on “Safety Guidelines in the Laboratory Work Environment” on 9/5/2026 at the Hall of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, attended by a number of students and individuals interested in academic affairs. The workshop included a scientific lecture that discussed the most important safety procedures that must be followed inside laboratories, mechanisms for the safe handling of equipment and materials used, in addition to explaining proper practices that contribute to reducing risks and maintaining the safety of staff and students within the laboratory environment. The workshop aimed to enhance awareness of occupational safety concepts and establish a culture of prevention inside educational laboratories, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals related to good health, quality education, and safe work environments. These scientific activities come within the framework of the commitment of Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities in Iraq, to support awareness and academic activities that contribute to developing students’ skills and strengthening a safe educational environment.
