*Future University Council Hosts Students Participating in the International Training Program in Türkiye and Commends Their Achievement*

*The Future University Council held a meeting chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The council hosted a delegation of students who participated in the international training and cultural exchange program hosted by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU) in the Republic of Türkiye.* During the hosting, the students presented details of their participation in the training program titled “Green Steps for Youth – A Shared Future,” held in Alanya from April 24 to May 2, 2026. The program included training workshops and field activities focused on environmental sustainability concepts and cultural exchange between Iraqi and Turkish youth. Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi praised the high-quality experience the students underwent, emphasizing that the university is always keen to involve its students in reputable international forums to enhance their leadership and academic skills. He added that this cooperation with ALKU University falls within the university’s strategy for global openness and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. For their part, the students expressed their thanks and gratitude to the university presidency for providing this international opportunity, which contributed to enriching their knowledge and cultural background. It is worth noting that this program was the result of high-level joint coordination between Future University and Turkish universities to strengthen academic and student cooperation ties. At the conclusion of the hosting, the University Council urged the students to transfer the knowledge and experience they gained to their colleagues, so they can be ambassadors for positive change and development in their university community.
