On the occasion of the National Afforestation Day, the Civil Engineering Department at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a student planting campaign on 14/3/2026 under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Mayada Waheed Fallah, Assistant Lecturer Wurood Raouf Abdul Hussein Shanin, and Assistant Lecturer Lina Hussein Ali Ibrahim. The campaign aimed to promote environmental sustainability, preserve natural resources, and spread environmental awareness among students while emphasizing the importance of increasing green spaces within the university community. The campaign included planting a number of trees and plants around the university campus, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and teamwork between students and academic staff. This initiative also contributed to improving the university environment and enhancing its aesthetic appearance, highlighting the importance of afforestation and its role in building a healthy and sustainable environment for future generations.
