Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University continues its distinguished scientific and technological presence through its broad participation in the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI 2026), as part of its ongoing efforts to support creativity, innovation, and the development of students’ skills in modern technology and artificial intelligence. The university is participating in the championship with 27 student teams presenting innovative technical projects and ideas that reflect the advanced academic level of the university’s students under the supervision of specialized academic staff, reinforcing the university’s role in preparing a generation equipped with future skills and capable of competing in digital transformation and advanced technology fields. The participation included presenting a variety of projects in robotics, intelligent systems, and artificial intelligence applications. Specialized evaluation committees have begun assessing the participating teams in preparation for qualification to the ministerial and international competition stages. So far, 6 out of the 27 teams representing Al-Mustaqbal University have been evaluated. The championship witnessed praise for the scientific and technical level of the projects presented by the university’s students, due to the smart solutions and promising creative ideas they included, contributing to the development of technological applications and community service, reflecting the quality of the educational environment and academic support provided by the university. The university presidency emphasized its commitment to supporting scientific and technological activities that promote a culture of innovation and scientific research, while encouraging students to develop their creative projects in line with global advancements in artificial intelligence and robotic systems. The university also expressed its best wishes for success and excellence to its students and participating teams, hoping they achieve further scientific accomplishments that contribute to elevating the university’s name and representing it honorably in academic and technological forums. This participation comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to support scientific research and smart applications, and to strengthen the role of technical education in building an advanced knowledge-based society, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 related to quality education and Goal 9 related to industry, innovation, and infrastructure.
