Students of the Department of Community Health Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific and awareness activity entitled “Development in Laboratory Work and Medical Analysis Procedures” within the college premises, with the participation of academic staff and students. The activity aimed to enhance students’ scientific and practical skills and highlight the importance of modern developments in medical laboratories and laboratory analysis techniques. The activity was conducted to develop students’ laboratory skills and increase their scientific awareness regarding the latest methods and technologies used in medical laboratory testing, in addition to strengthening the practical aspect and linking academic knowledge with real laboratory applications in health and medical institutions. The program included scientific and awareness presentations discussing the importance of accuracy in laboratory examinations and the role of modern devices and technologies in improving the quality of laboratory results. It also addressed major challenges facing laboratory professionals and ways to enhance professional performance. The organizers emphasized the importance of holding such scientific activities, which contribute to improving students’ knowledge and professional skills and encourage them to develop their scientific capabilities in line with labor market requirements and modern advancements in the healthcare field. The activity concluded with positive interaction from attendees and emphasized the importance of continuing scientific and awareness initiatives that support the educational process. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
