Within the framework of ongoing commitment to enhancing laboratory equipment efficiency and ensuring optimal operational performance, specialized maintenance for the Rectifier systems used in educational laboratories was completed on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. These works were conducted under the auspices of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi.
The maintenance work highlighted the pivotal role of power stability in engineering experiments. Initiated under the directives of the Head of the Laboratories Unit, Dr. Sura Musa Ali, the Maintenance Committee—represented by Teaching Assistants Ali Naji Radhi and Haider Karrar Hussein—executed a series of technical procedures. These included inspecting and diagnosing faults in rectification circuits, addressing voltage instability, and replacing damaged components to improve the efficiency of AC to DC power conversion.
This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to strengthen scientific infrastructure and showcase the contributions of technical staff toward a sustainable future. This aligns with the university’s strategic vision and quality assurance and academic accreditation plans, reflecting a focus on providing high-precision equipment that supports students' practical training and enhances their technical skills.
The maintenance concluded with final operational tests confirming the equipment's return to high-efficiency performance, ensuring the accuracy of experimental results within the educational laboratories of the Electrical Engineering Technologies Department.
