As part of its outreach activities aimed at developing students' personal skills and refining their life skills, the Biomedical Engineering Department organized a specialized workshop entitled "Effective Communication Among Students to promote dialogue within the academic community. About the Workshop: The workshop was conducted under the direct supervision of a distinguished team including: • Assistant Lecturer Zainab Sattar Jabbar • Engineer Zainab Ali Jabr • Engineer Hassanein Hadi Hussein The session aimed to introduce students to scientific methods of effective communication and mechanisms for building bridges of positive relationships within the university environment, ensuring a balance between academic success and personal development. Methodology: The workshop employed simulation and behavioral analysis techniques, focusing on: • Emphasizing the skills of active listening and clear expression of ideas, while respecting the opinions of others. • Developing teamwork skills and fostering a spirit of cooperation, with an emphasis on the ability to resolve conflicts in a civilized and conscious manner. • Providing practical applications that help students improve their interaction with their peers and professors, thus contributing to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment. The workshop witnessed significant participation from attendees, with discussions highlighting the importance of soft skills in the career path of a biomedical engineer, and their ability to lead and work within specialized teams in the future.
