The Department of Cybersecurity Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University, the first among private universities in Iraq, organized an awareness campaign on 5-5-2026 within the university campus. The campaign involved distributing informational brochures highlighting the importance of not sharing private information, with the aim of enhancing digital awareness among students and staff and promoting cybersecurity culture within the academic environment. The campaign included raising awareness about the risks associated with sharing personal data across digital platforms, while providing practical guidelines to help protect sensitive information and strengthen preventive measures against cyber threats. This activity reflects the university’s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by promoting digital awareness and reinforcing privacy protection concepts within the academic community.
