The Department of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific workshop on Tuesday, 5/5/2026, titled “The Role of Women in Artificial Intelligence.” The workshop was presented by lecturer Aya Mohammed Hussein Mohammed Ali and took place in the Humanities Building, with the participation of first-year students. This workshop aimed to highlight the role of women in the field of artificial intelligence and to promote their presence in technological disciplines, contributing to knowledge balance and supporting technological advancement. The workshop included a scientific presentation covering women’s contributions to the development of artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the key challenges they face, in addition to showcasing successful models of women who have excelled in this field. The workshop witnessed active engagement from students through discussions and questions, which helped raise awareness about the importance of women’s role in building an advanced technological future. This workshop comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to support scientific and cultural activities, promote equal opportunities, and prepare qualified cadres capable of keeping pace with modern developments in various scientific fields.
