The Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies at the Engineering Technical College of Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, hosted on 4-5-2026 an educational and awareness visit for students from one of the gifted kindergartens under the title “Building a Digitally Safe Generation Begins in Childhood.” The initiative aimed to instill digital awareness concepts and enhance children’s technological culture through innovative educational and interactive activities.
The visit included several educational and recreational activities, such as dialogues in both English and French, as well as the recitation of the national anthem in English, all within a highly interactive and engaging atmosphere that encouraged children to participate and learn in an enjoyable way.
During the visit, the department also emphasized the importance of spreading digital safety concepts among children and highlighted the necessity of learning the basics of safe internet use from an early age, based on the belief that building a digitally aware generation begins in childhood.
This initiative comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance digital awareness and culture in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, reaffirming the pioneering position of Al-Mustaqbal University, the leading private university in Iraq, and its active role in preparing generations that are more aware and better equipped for the demands of the digital future.
