Computer models are used to simulate the effects of drugs within the human body. This contributes to reducing the need for animal testing. It also helps reduce the risks associated with clinical trials. AI can analyze massive databases of chemical compounds. It can detect patterns that are difficult for humans to observe. It contributes to the development of personalized drugs that are tailored to individuals' genetic characteristics. This strengthens the concept of personalized medicine. It also contributes to repurposing existing drugs for new therapeutic purposes. Artificial intelligence (AI) helps predict potential drug side effects, contributing to improved patient safety.
