The Department of Medical Rehabilitation Technologies and Physiotherapy organized an educational scientific activity under the supervision of Hisham Maher Mohammed, with the participation of the department’s students, as part of efforts to enhance knowledge of modern techniques in the field of physiotherapy.
The activity was held within the department on May 3, 2026, where the focus was placed on the TECar Therapy device as one of the most prominent modern technologies used in medical rehabilitation. The session introduced this technique, which relies on the use of radio frequencies to transfer energy to deep tissues, helping to accelerate the healing process, reduce pain, and improve blood circulation in patients—especially in cases of muscular and joint injuries.
The program also included a simplified theoretical explanation of how the device works, followed by a practical demonstration showing the correct methods of its use in therapeutic applications. The activity witnessed notable engagement from students through their participation in scientific discussions aimed at strengthening understanding and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application.
This activity reflects the department’s commitment to developing students’ skills and keeping pace with the latest therapeutic methods adopted in the field of medical rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
