The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the acceptance of the participation of an academic delegation from the Business Administration Department at the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University in the activities of the “First Scientific Conference on Addressing Unemployment and Poverty in Iraq,” which will be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning on Wednesday and Thursday, May 6–7, 2026.
The participating academic delegation includes a distinguished group of faculty members from the Business Administration Department, headed by the Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Hamid Majid, and comprising: Lecturer Dr. Riyadh Malik Mohsen, Assistant Lecturer Anmar Thamer Obeid, Assistant Lecturer Karrar Haider Hassoun, Assistant Lecturer Ameer Fares Taha, and Assistant Lecturer Zaid Abdulwahab Razouqi.
This participation comes through the presentation of specialized research studies aimed at developing practical strategies to address the challenges of poverty and unemployment in Iraqi society. The delegation is scheduled to take part in the discussion and research sessions on the second day of the conference, which will be held at the Mansour Hotel in Baghdad, where they will present the findings and recommendations of their accepted papers.
