The Department of Community Health Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a practical scientific workshop on the microscopic examination of urine as part of the practical physiology course. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Russel Mushtaq Talib, with the participation of department students. The workshop included a detailed explanation of the procedures for urine microscopic analysis, highlighting the key components identified under the microscope, such as cells, crystals, and bacteria, as well as emphasizing the diagnostic importance of this test in the early detection of various pathological conditions. The session also focused on the practical aspect, providing students with hands-on training in microscope usage and sample analysis, thereby enhancing their laboratory skills and bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application. This activity comes within the department’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ scientific and practical competencies in alignment with the demands of the healthcare sector.
