On Thursday, 30/4/2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Abdul Rahim Al-Musallamawi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Law, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated as a member of the Master’s thesis defense committee at the College of Law / University of Al-Qadisiyah. The thesis was entitled: “The Legal System of Custodial Possession (Yad Al-‘Adl) in Possessory Mortgage – A Comparative Legal Study with Islamic Jurisprudence.” This participation comes in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and strengthening academic cooperation with Iraqi universities. The committee included a distinguished group of specialized professors in the field of law. Dr. Al-Musallamawi contributed effectively to enriching the scientific discussion through her valuable interventions, reflecting her academic expertise and enhancing the depth of the scholarly debate. The defense witnessed notable academic attendance and featured in-depth scientific discussions that reflected the advanced level of the research and highlighted the importance of the topic from both legal and jurisprudential perspectives. This participation reaffirms the dedication of the faculty members of the College of Law / Al-Mustaqbal University to strengthening academic collaboration with Iraqi universities and actively contributing to the advancement of the academic and research process, in line with the university’s vision to develop academic performance and elevate scientific standards. At the conclusion of the defense, Dr. Fatima Abdul Rahim Al-Musallamawi was awarded a letter of appreciation from the Dean of the College of Law at the University of Al-Qadisiyah in recognition of her scientific efforts and her valuable contribution to the success of the committee.
