The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Workshop on Blood Drawing and Cannulation for First-Year Students

The Department of Forensic Evidence at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University organized, under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, a training workshop entitled “Blood Drawing and Cannulation” for first-year students, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Medical Building Laboratories – First Floor, Lab (103). The workshop was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Bushra Hussein Atiyah and aimed to develop students’ practical skills and enhance their ability to apply theoretical knowledge in a realistic training environment, contributing to preparing them for handling field cases with high efficiency. The workshop included a detailed explanation of blood drawing and cannulation procedures, along with hands-on practical training for students, in addition to highlighting the necessary health and safety procedures to ensure professional safety and minimize errors during practice. The workshop witnessed notable engagement from the students, who showed great interest in the training content due to its importance in refining their scientific and practical skills within their specialization. This activity comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to develop students’ capabilities and strengthen the practical aspects of educational programs in line with labor market requirements.
