In the context of promoting health awareness and spreading scientific culture among students of Al-Mustaqbal University and the academic community, the Department of Physiotherapy Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a specialized awareness activity on Sunday, 26/4/2026, focusing on the use of High Power Laser Therapy in the field of physical therapy, held on the university campus. This activity aimed to enhance students’ scientific knowledge of modern rehabilitation technologies and to strengthen their understanding of non-invasive treatment methods that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services. During the event, a simplified and comprehensive scientific explanation was presented on the mechanism of High Power Laser Therapy, which is based on stimulating biological cells, increasing blood circulation, and reducing inflammation and pain. The activity also highlighted the main applications of this technology in treating muscular injuries, tendon inflammation, joint pain, and musculoskeletal system disorders, in addition to clarifying the cases in which this treatment is recommended within modern physiotherapy protocols. Furthermore, the event included an educational component through the distribution of well-designed scientific brochures. These brochures provided simplified information about the benefits of high-power laser therapy, its indications for use, suitable treatment cases, and general safety guidelines that must be followed during device operation, ensuring the safe and effective use of this technology. This activity contributed to enhancing students’ scientific understanding and developing their health communication skills, as well as reinforcing the role of the Department of Physiotherapy Techniques at Al-Mustaqbal University in serving the academic community and disseminating modern medical knowledge in a scientific and practical manner.
