Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University (respected),
and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Aesthetic and Laser Techniques organized an event in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 5: Gender Equality, and Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
On Monday, 27/4/2026, a workshop titled “Effective Communication Skills for Women in the Academic Environment” was held, aiming to develop students’ communication abilities and enhance their academic and community presence.
The workshop addressed the importance of effective communication skills in building positive relationships within the university environment, including communication with lecturers and peers, as well as developing the ability to express ideas confidently and clearly, practice active listening, and manage dialogue in a professional manner.
The main objective of the workshop was to develop effective communication skills among women in the academic environment, thereby enhancing their self-confidence and improving their academic and social performance.
The workshop is based on the principle of capacity building and cognitive empowerment of women, supporting their active participation in the educational environment and enhancing their opportunities for success and excellence.
In conclusion, the importance of developing communication skills was emphasized as a key pillar for women’s success in their academic and professional careers, along with a call to continue organizing such purposeful training programs.
