The Department of Archaeology at the College of Arts and Humanities, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a comprehensive humanitarian volunteer campaign on April 23, 2026, to support educational institutions in Babil Province. The initiative was launched under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hussein Waheed Aziz, and followed up by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Angham Salim Al-Dulaimi. The campaign included the distribution of more than 20 ceiling fans to Hassan Shehata School, Al-Nasr Girls School, Ur Primary School, and Sadr Al-Iraq Primary School, aiming to improve the learning environment and provide suitable conditions for students with the approach of the summer season. The campaign was carried out through field visits involving faculty members and students of the Department of Archaeology, in the presence of the Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Maytham Abdul Khudher, and the Department Secretary, Assistant Lecturer Zaid Awad. This initiative reflected a vivid example of cooperation between Al-Mustaqbal University and the local community.
