Healthy nutrition plays a vital role in enhancing students’ academic performance by directly influencing brain function, concentration, memory, and overall cognitive abilities, as the brain requires essential nutrients such as glucose, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals to function efficiently, consuming a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, proteins, and whole grains helps maintain stable energy levels and supports sustained attention during study sessions, breakfast is particularly important as it provides the necessary energy to start the day and improves focus and learning capacity, on the other hand, excessive consumption of unhealthy foods high in sugar and fats can lead to reduced concentration, fatigue, and decreased academic performance, adequate hydration is also crucial since dehydration negatively affects cognitive functions such as memory and attention, furthermore, proper nutrition contributes to better mental health by reducing stress and enhancing mood, when combined with sufficient sleep and regular physical activity, healthy eating habits create an optimal environment for learning and academic success, ultimately, maintaining a nutritious and balanced diet is essential for improving educational outcomes and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
