The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies at , Dr. , participated in the 10th meeting of the Committee of Deans of Health and Medical Specialties in Iraq, held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Technical Medical Institute – Baghdad / , with the participation of a group of deans of health and medical colleges and institutes across the country, and chaired by Prof. .
The meeting aimed to strengthen academic coordination among health education institutions, where participants discussed several organizational and scientific topics, primarily the preparations for final examinations and supervision mechanisms, as well as ways to standardize procedures among universities to ensure fairness and academic integrity in assessment.
The attendees emphasized the importance of completing examination requirements according to unified standards, organizing the work of central and sub-committees and question banks, and adhering to deadlines for submitting them to the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, ensuring accuracy and smooth implementation across institutions.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for organizing examination supervision procedures and the delivery and receipt of answer sheets (Bubble Sheets) for private colleges within governmental technical universities, in line with the geographical distribution of students, thereby improving examination management efficiency and transparency.
In line with academic development, the participants stressed the need to update curricula to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements in health and medical specialties, aligning them with labor market needs and international standards, contributing to the preparation of highly qualified healthcare professionals capable of delivering quality services.
The meeting concluded with appreciation extended to the Technical Medical Institute – Baghdad, represented by Prof. , and the institute’s staff for their outstanding efforts in organizing and hosting this academic event.
