The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the
INTERNATIONAL HEALTH, SPORTS, ENERGY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY CONGRESS,
which was held virtually (online) from 23–25 April 2026 in Alanya, Türkiye, with broad participation from researchers and academics from around the world.
The college's participation included the presentation of the research entitled
“Molecular Changes in Diabetic Rat Dental Pulp: Upregulation of RANKL, OPG, and VEGF,”
conducted by Professor Dr. Athraa Yahya Al-Hijjazi, Dean of the College of Dentistry; Assistant Lecturer Hassan Khalid Hassan, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs; and Ali Hussein Hamza Rashid, in the presence of a distinguished group of researchers from Al-Mustaqbal University and Alanya University.
The research presentation session witnessed active scientific engagement, where the study was discussed in detail and a number of questions and comments were raised by attendees, contributing to a rich academic dialogue and exchange of perspectives among participants.
This participation highlights the college's commitment to strengthening its international presence and fostering academic collaboration with global institutions while supporting research pathways related to sustainability and health.
For her part, Professor Dr. Athraa Yahya Al-Hijjazi emphasized the importance of participating in such international conferences, noting that they serve as valuable platforms for presenting research outputs, exchanging knowledge, and enhancing the college's academic standing at both regional and global levels.
She further affirmed that this achievement reflects the college's dedication to advancing scientific research and encouraging scholars to produce high-quality studies that contribute to community service and the development of the healthcare sector, in line with the university's vision for excellence and leadership.
