The Forensic Evidence Department at Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Division, organized a workshop on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, titled “Women’s Leadership Skills in Building Community Peace,” held in the Pharmacy Building, with the participation of a number of faculty members and students. The workshop aimed to enhance the role of women in society and develop their leadership skills in ways that contribute to achieving community peace and stability, as well as to support their active participation in various fields. The workshop included interactive sessions and open discussions, delivered by the department’s Women’s Affairs Officer, Assistant Lecturer Mais Adi Adi Mohammed Nouri, who highlighted key leadership skills that empower women to play an influential role in building society. The workshop witnessed notable engagement from attendees through interventions, questions, and the exchange of ideas and experiences, which enriched the discussion. Participants emphasized the importance of empowering women and strengthening their role in achieving stability and peace within the community. The department’s leadership affirmed its commitment to organizing such workshops that contribute to developing leadership capacities and spreading community awareness, stressing the importance of supporting and empowering women across various fields. This workshop is part of a series of activities carried out by the Women’s Affairs Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, aiming to raise awareness, promote sustainable development concepts, and build women’s leadership capacities.
