The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, participated in a high-level ministerial delegation to the Arab Republic of Egypt, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Professor Dr. Haider Abid Dhahad. The visit, conducted on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, aimed at strengthening the framework of joint academic cooperation and activating scientific partnerships between the two brotherly nations. The visit highlighted the pivotal role of activating memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and advancing the standards of scientific research. The itinerary included strategic meetings with Al-Azhar University to discuss avenues for integration and expertise exchange. Furthermore, the delegation followed up on joint postgraduate programs with Mansoura University, commending the successful implementation of the Master of Laws program hosted at Al-Mustaqbal University as the first fruitful and constructive collaboration between the two countries. Additionally, meetings were held at the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education to discuss mutual recognition mechanisms and scientific twinning programs. This participation is part of Al-Mustaqbal University's international outreach strategy to enhance its global standing and showcase its contributions to building a sustainable future, in alignment with the university’s strategic vision and its efforts to improve its rankings in international databases. In this context, the delegation met with the regional office of Elsevier to explore scientific publishing techniques utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI in Research) and visited the InInformation Technology Company at Mansoura University to review pioneering digital transformation models. The tour concluded with an emphasis on Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to overcoming obstacles for researchers and expanding cooperation in modern disciplines, reflecting its dedication to international openness and the attainment of the highest standards of academic quality.
