On Monday, 20/4/2026, the Department of Medical Biotechnology at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Women’s Role in Persuasion and Influence Skills”, as part of the activities of the Women Empowerment Unit, with the attendance of students from the Department of Medical Biotechnology.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Sara Raheem Hamza, where she discussed the importance of women possessing persuasion and influence skills in the workplace, their role in enhancing effective communication and building successful professional relationships, as well as highlighting key methods that contribute to developing these skills.
This seminar comes in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Gender Equality, as well as supporting institutional reform and organizational development within the academic environment.
The seminar witnessed notable engagement from attending students, reflecting strong interest in its scientific and practical topics.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
