Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in cooperation with the Department of English, organized an interactive cultural workshop on April 21, 2026, entitled: “Enhancing the Role of Female Students in University Life.” The workshop was delivered by Prof. Sahira Qahtan Abdul Jabbar and Asst. Lect. Zainab Tayeh Ahimed. The speakers emphasized the vital role of female university students in the educational and developmental system, as well as their contribution to decision-making. The workshop also highlighted ways to empower female students academically, professionally, psychologically, and socially through developing programs and services that address their needs and help them balance their various roles. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, Dr. Abdul Salam Jawdat, along with a number of faculty members. The workshop concluded with the development of clear mechanisms aimed at meeting the needs and requirements of female university students and enhancing their role in achieving sustainable development.
