Within the framework of scientific activities, the Department of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Physical Therapy organized an online workshop presented by Dr. Muna Kazem Kattab, entitled “Acid–Base Balance Disorders,” held on 21/4/2026 at 9:00 PM. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of the mechanisms regulating acid–base balance in the human body and its clinical significance, while highlighting the main types of disorders and their causes, in addition to clarifying the basic principles for interpreting arterial blood gas (ABG) results. The workshop was distinguished by its interactive approach, which combined concise theoretical presentation with practical clinical applications, thereby contributing to the development of participants’ analytical and diagnostic skills in this vital field.
