The Business Administration Department at the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a field scientific trip on Sunday, April 19, 2026, for second-year students. The visit included key institutions related to the transport and storage sector, as part of the practical applications of the “Logistics” course. The trip was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mujbil Rafiq Marjan and Assistant Lecturer Sama Safaa Al-Muraib, and included two main stops: The General Company for Iraqi Railways (Hilla Railway Station): Students were introduced to railway transport mechanisms, train movement management, and the role of railways in supply chains and national logistics services. The General Company for Grain Trade (Babil Branch): The visit included a tour inside the silos, where students learned firsthand about receiving operations, storage processes, and logistics management of strategic grain reserves. A distinguished group of second-year Business Administration students participated in the trip, demonstrating strong engagement by asking technical questions to experts at the visited sites. This helped them connect theoretical knowledge with practical realities in major government institutions. This initiative aims to link the “Logistics” course with real-world applications in the Iraqi labor market and to familiarize students with supply chain management, transportation, and storage operations in vital institutions. It comes as part of the department’s vision to enhance students’ practical skills and prepare them as future administrative leaders with a clear field-based perspective. Through such activities, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to breaking academic rigidity and fostering collaboration with government institutions and the public sector to strengthen the practical experience of its students.
