The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed, on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, the discussion of a graduation research project entitled Immediate Complete Denture, supervised by Assistant Lecturer Sadiq Adi, in the presence of Assistant Lecturer Bahaa Fawzi and Assistant Lecturer Ali Hamed, along with a distinguished group of faculty members. The research was presented by the students: Saif Saad Abbas, Ali Hussein Faisal, Hussein Ibrahim Kareem, Noor Ali Hassan, Naba Hassan Kadhim, and Asia Kadhim Hajim. The study addressed the concept of immediate complete dentures and their importance in replacing missing teeth immediately after extraction, thereby improving both functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients, while also reducing the psychological impact associated with tooth loss. The research highlighted the clinical and scientific aspects related to this type of prosthetic treatment, including preparation and design procedures, as well as the challenges that clinicians may encounter during application. It also reviewed the advantages of this approach compared to conventional methods, particularly in minimizing the period during which patients remain without teeth. The discussion session featured active scientific engagement, with numerous questions and comments that contributed to enriching the research and enhancing its academic value. At the conclusion of the session, the research supervisor, Assistant Lecturer Sadiq Adi, praised the students’ efforts and their outstanding work, commending the accuracy of their approach and the importance of the topic. He emphasized that such studies contribute to the development of students’ clinical skills and enhance their ability to manage advanced treatment cases. He further noted that this type of research reflects the advanced academic level of the College’s students, strengthens the integration between theoretical knowledge and practical application, and plays an important role in supporting the quality of clinical education and advancing dental prosthetic services.
