An awareness campaign on website security was launched at Al-Mustaqbal University on April 13, 2026, with the participation of students from the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department. The campaign aimed to enhance students’ awareness of the importance of protecting websites from cyberattacks, and to highlight the most common website vulnerabilities and methods of addressing them to ensure data safety and the continuity of digital services. This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by promoting digital security and supporting a safe electronic infrastructure. The initiative reflects the efforts of the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department in spreading digital security culture and underscores the leadership of Al-Mustaqbal University as the leading private university in Iraq in adopting impactful scientific initiatives.
