A presentation on the Dark Web was delivered at the pavilion of the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department at Al-Mustaqbal University on April 13, 2026, during the activities of the International Future Week held on campus, in the presence of the University President, Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The project, presented by Mr. Yasser Amer, explained the concept of the Dark Web and how it operates, highlighting its security risks and potential misuse in illegal activities, while also outlining safe usage practices and methods of protection against related threats. This activity aimed to promote cybersecurity culture and enhance digital awareness among students and visitors, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). The event reflects the efforts of the Cybersecurity Engineering Technologies Department in fostering a secure digital environment and underscores the leadership of Al-Mustaqbal University as the leading private university in Iraq in adopting modern scientific and technological initiatives.
